This is a powerful and sturdy blaster and besides some small issues I ran into, this kit works very well. I selected aluminum plunger and rambase with a Pro25 spring and got 294 FPS average with a 24″ .509 barrel. I was building a Talon/Katana variant of the Caliburn, which requires an extra small spring for the two magazine releases. This kit only comes with 2 small springs when I needed 3. I believe I also needed an extra bolt not included in this kit for attaching the grip insert. I think the grip insert is technically optional, but it would be nice to get some spare parts with this kit, even just incase you lose one.
The worst problem I had with the kit was the included pins, the ones the trigger and magazine releases pivot on. I found them to be far too small in diameter to work well; the trigger was wobbly and often locked up and was unusable. I luckily had some other larger pins (0.100″) on hand that worked much better and so I didn’t even use the pins in the kit.
With my own pin in the trigger and a workaround for the magazine release spring, this is a Five Star blaster. If the pins provided in the kit were improved and a few extra spares were included for some of the other parts, this is a 5 star blaster kit.

Ordered this kit for my son and I to build. He loves it. Operates better than expected. We had a couple of minor issues which were quickly resolved through customer service
